Before becoming a widely popular clothing brand for teenagers in the 90's, Abercrombie and Fitch was a high end sporting goods emporium for adventurers and the elite. It outfitted the likes of Theodore Roosevelt, Admiral Byrd, Charles Lindburg and Ernest Hemmingway.
They also made some really cool hand-stitched cowhide leather footstools that were originally intended for children to sit on while their parents shopped in the store.
This particular Rhino is presumably from the 1960's and is in fantastic vintage condition as seen in the pictures. The leather pieces that were once the eyes have long since fallen off but does not take away from this rhinos appeal in the slightest.
